    Default Wylie - 5-6-18

I went out this evening to enjoy the water. Honestly was looking to drift for some catfish and didn’t have any takers at the first location and was on the way to the second cove. I had to check a spot with the side scan on my way and found the fish stacked up pretty good. I took my one jig pole( had catfish rigs ready) and started trying them out. They were willing and ready. I left them biting an hour and half later. I threw back as many as I kept. Great end to a good weekend.

    Water temp - 77
    Water depth - 15 feet
    Fish - 5 -10 feet down.
Jig only - purple and yellow

Thanks, water temp surprised me as well. Just received replacement electronic and was wondering if it that was accurate???? A week or so ago it was in the low 70s. I was fishing a cove. Big jump if true.

Would think with the hot days and warm nights the water surface temp should be right.
    Nice catch!

Nice catch where they dark pulling up looks like they been hanging in the shallows.
