Default Lake Wylie Spring Fling !

Here we go again. Last year was a great success so we gonna try it again. The date will be Saturday , April 28th. At Ebenezer Ramp.Rain out date will be the following Saturday, May 5th. Sign in will start as soon as gate opens at first light. We will splash at 7:00 a.m. Fish until 1:00 p.m.. Weigh in will start at 1:30. So be at the ramp or on the trailer by then to be counted. We will have hamburgers and hotdogs. With all the fixens. We will ask for a few deserts to show up. Please post if you ae bringing one. As always a donation jar will be setup to help cover the cost. Everything is accounted for so we wont need stuff showing up. EXCEPT :::: micorp , Your bean salad has been requested by several folks. Hope you are able to provide. We will be in the same shelter as last spring. There is some construction ongoing at the ramp but will not interfere with the launching or loading of boats. As far as weigh in we have a dedicated scale master and his beautiful assistant and a helper. So feel safe your fish will be accounted for properly. We will have a five (5) fish weigh in per team (crappie). Top three teams will take a prize. We will have a 1 fish biggest crappie for individual prize. Also a biggest non-crappie fish for a spot. Also we gonna have a kids division. If you are going to have kids between 0 up to 12 please let us know so we can have enough prizes for all. There will be a girls big crappie prize and a boys big crappie prize. So lets get some kids out and let them catch the fish. Let them reel up that slab ! They can brag about it all day that way. When you sign in please tell us how many are on your team. You will get a raffle ticket for each person fishing. A drawing will be after weigh in. Please make sure to get and hold on to your tickets for this. All state fishing rules will apply. Up to you to have proper PFD, and equipment and correct license for your boat. You can fish any part of the lake you want using any legal means to catch fish. If you need help on where to fish please let us know before you launch .We aint gonna send anybody out blind. Will do our best to point you in the right direction. So please put this on your bucket list. Post any questions and ideas for this. All CDC members .family and friends are welcome. From N.C ,GEORGIA, VIRGINIA or any other state. Welcome to Wylie. Hope to see a great crowd and plenty of fish caught. I probably left out something but please tell me what so we can handle it before the time to fish.

And that's why we have livewell checks, though you probably will have him tied to a stump!
(You don't have a spare seat in your boat, do you?)

ofislbizzness, I forgot to mention to you that anyone that travels a long distance are welcome to park their boat in my yard over night. Also! Camping is available for tents and RV's with facilities close to sites at Ebenezer Park! Hotels can be booked off of Hwy 77 / Hwy 161 and Cherry Road intersection with plenty of places to eat with a near by Shopping Mall and all are within short commute to Ebenezer Park and my home. Details will be provided by PM so give a shout out if your coming and want to make plans. Any reservations for the park or hotels should be booked early as they will fill quickly. Bait can be purchased at the nearest service station which is on the same road the launch ramp is on. I will try to assist in anyway possible, so PM me with any parking, hotel or park questions.
