    Default Wateree cats were biting yesterday 4-18-18


    That wind was bad! I've had enough of this wind! but the cats were biting, put 26 in the boat , biggest was 33 lb, never found the big ones, caught 20 before lunch time, then it got slow, that wind made it hard to control the boat, give up at 3 pm.

    Putting that many in the boat still had to be fun even though I KNOW fighting that wind had to be slap terrible. I'm waiting for better days myself. Problem I'm having is I'm doing pretty good with some really nice sized crappies and cant leave 'em alone right now. I really enjoy those pulldowns but catfishing aint putting fish in my freezer as I prefer releasing them to grow. It's just for fun for me. Congrats on an awesome trip....especially under the conditions.

    I dont keep them either, I just love catching them. I just love fishing for anything! Heck, I enjoy catching bait, them perch are fun to catch!
