    Default Man! Ive Missed Fishing!

The boat seems to be running GREAT (fingers crossed). I hope it continues. Yesterday I only caught 5 crappie from 8AM until noon. Today I regrouped....thunk ALOT on where to go and how to attack them....and tried new waters today. The bite began slow on the first stop only catching 5 fish with one (maybe) keeper. Moved and instantly hit PAYDIRT! The bite was fast and furious....with quality fish mixed in with smaller fish.

Stayed after 'em fishing a 100 yard area or so the rest of the morning catching singles, doubles, and triples. Put a Ga limit in the well and then started culling the 11" fish for bigger ones. At 11:30 AM I was done! Had a good box of fish with 30 good fish in the 'well.

Did I mention it felt GREAT getting back in the saddle again. I don't ever wish anyone with boat trouble during the spawn. Here's a pic of a coupel of the better fish from today...

    And the typical livewell shot.

Total catch today from 8AM until 11:30AM was 1 hybrid @ 2.7 lbs, 5 jumbo perch, and 76 crappie. I left fishi biting.
Tomorrow is another day and the last day I have off work for another 5 days so I hope theyre still biting tomorrow.
Thanks Ttexastom, BigDawgg thanked you for this post

Well done Butch, at least the Clarkhill crappie were able to get a little break from your onslaught during your maintenance issues! lol The best part of this whole episode is now you get to unleash all your frustrations on these poor defenseless fish that have been just cruising around unmolested.

Butch proud to see you back up and running. Mark of a champ, when you can change from one type scene to another, and be successful. Great catch you have there. People at boat ramps, if they are telling the truth are not getting many.
Do not see the bank fisherman beside broad river, or cooter creek as in the past. Must be hard to catch from bank this year...!

Good to see that mugg shot again. Glad the motor issue is behind you. Now don't try to catch up on all those fish you been missing all in one weekend.

Dang, I thought you weren't getting to fish and then here you are on them again. I was going to catch a couple for you and send you a PM with pictures. Glad you got your motor running and out on the water. Very nice report with great pictures to boot. Waiting to hear more from you soon!
Now I'm getting more jealous of you. 76 crappies!
