    Default Monticello sub impondment limits

Are there any differences in SC regulations with respect to daily fish limits when fishing the sub impoundment? We are thinking about trying the impoundment for a change. Probally, be long lining for crappies.

I did not see anything about the limits in the regulation book.

    Thanks

I think SCANA owns and operates the subimpoundment so unless they posted rules and regs on the big sign by the lake, you just go by statewide regulations so 8" and 20 fish. I've fished it and it is not what it used to be. If you strike out, launch on the main lake ramp right across from the subimpoundment. First cove to the right right by the ramp is loaded with standing timber.
Also sub is electric motor only so bring a couple batteries.

Charles this is only rules I saw posted other than the "Electric motors only" sign. So it would seem that state or Monticello lake specific regulations would apply here also.
