I got a Johnson 140 hp four stroke and yes it is worth paying that much to fix it. I just spent $800.00 to have lifting strakes welded on it and $2500.00 for the trolling motor on it. The motor is the same as the Suzuki 140 4 stroke.
Don, just curious, where did you take your boat for repair?
Hydro tech marine on 378 by Bilo shopping center. I have used before and have no complaints
