    Default Clark Hill this morning!

We all know how the cold wind blows this time of year and after yesterday morning on Greenwood again with only 6 nice keepers fighting the wind l decided to try different waters where l could get out of the wind if that is possible.
I decided on Soap creek and yes the wind was blowing at daylight but manageable.
The water is up some and clear wirh surface temp of 48.Name: 20180202_081734.jpg

Only problem l found no bait fish or marked any concentrations of fish.
I was off the water by 10am and stopped by Lincolnton marine and looked at all the nice boats. Clark Hill this morning!
I was prepared for those CH giants as l had CH size crappie minnows.
If l got a bite today l did not see it.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Cold water. Deep fish (?). We went to Secession yesterday. Only managed 4 crappie, one kitty cat and a dozen or so perch. Slow right now for us too. Thanks for report.

At least you got out there. As the saying goes better a bad day fishing than a good day at work.

Thanks for your report. Right now it seems to be hit or miss.....and mostly misses. With the weather changes like we're experiencing you just never know. That...along with the cold rainwater that entered the lake it probably shut 'em down. Probably another two/three weeks and you should be finding some quality fish if you look hard enough.

Hate to hear it was so tough. I'm headed to Murray in the morning to try my luck. We'll see if the cold front fish want to cooperate....
