    I hear you, yesterday wind shouldnt have been a factor but, combined with temp, i drove home with heated seats on hi.

    Thanks for the info. I’ve been using Ventusky app since someone on here mentioned it. I can overlay wind direction and gusts on the lake map. I can look for wind breaks from the couch.

    My rule of thumb: take steady wind prediction and DOUBLE it. Take wind gust prediction, and TRIPLE it. Usually works out about right when I’m on water. No joke.
