    Default Lake wateree today 12-31

Fished deep in the channel in 38-40 fow. Had to fish with two anchors down and spot lock, it was brisk. Landed two stripers, 8 nice crappie, and 2 cats (released). Crappie are all in the 12-15" range. Crappie are still scattered following the bait on the bottom of the channel. Got to do everything possible to keep the boat still so they can stare down the minnows.

Nice catch Tim. It's been so long since I've seen a White Bass I thought it was a White Perch. The two are very closely related, the White Perch is actually in the bass family.

I thought it was a crappie reeling it up, unfortunately hooked it deep and was bleeding so had to keep, couldnt believe how big it was when i got it in the boat.
