Headed to wylie about 11 wed to use up some left over shad. Checked out several spots of Big Allison & a few down toward the dam. Marked almost nothing on the depth finder. Finally, came back up out from Ebenzer landing(out in the main channel). Here, we caught several perch & 2 crappies(one was a lb & 1/2). Everything, we caught came just off the bottom in 40 to 45'. Wind was to strong to drift.

yep fished channel 6 ft off bottom for crappie at wateree. Deep and near bottom. I was surprised the striper near the bottom also at wateree.
