Whew! Made it back safely as did my son and grandaughter, his trip being shorter because these younguns drive faster than us old poots. Thanks for all the well wishes.
When my other son broke his ankle, it was to late to change or cancel our reservation, so we had a lot more house than we needed. 8 bedrooms when we only needed 3, but we had a great time. My son has his own business and this was his 1st real vacation in 5 years.

No, but my son did. He has a wet suit and he was out there on his board. Amazingly there were two more surfers out there. Too cold for me.
