Default 1st crappie of the year!

That's not a misprint,I've been busy doing stuff that shoulda been done, needs to be and ought to be done this year and have not gone until Friday 6-30. I was hoping I had not forgot how to launch the boat and fish. I launched the boat at 8:00 and rode around for a while looking for fish. Most of what I saw were scattered and not schooled up. I finally went over several fish in about 10' of water. I killed the big motor, casted out four rods at the back then was headed to the front to drop the trolling motor and I saw this.Name: IMG_1491.jpg

I thought to myself, that happen too fast, sure enough I went a long way before #3 bit. I fished water from 10 to 20' Friday. The Lord blessed me with 20 plus crappie a catfish and a bass. It was sure nice to get back on the water. I've got to finish up some of my projects so I can go back! I know this post is long but hey it's my FIRST ONE OF THE YEAR!!

Something is bad WRONG! If you hadn't been fishing, you need to do something about that! Do I need to take you fishing?

Good that you were able to finally able to get out and put fish in the boat. I know the feeling well as I missed most of 2014 because of cancer. It sure feels good to finally get back in the boat.

Way to go Bearclaw! Glad you were able to go and catch some fish. Heck I think the last time I was able to go was with Don at Clark Hill. I've just been too busy, something always comes up. I was able to go for a boat ride today with my daughter and son-in-law on Murray today. His parents(son-in-law) just got a boat and he wanted to take it out today. He's never pulled or launched a boat and needed some help. We had a great time until the ride home. We were going down 378 laughing about things that happen today when all of sudden the truck shuke and my son-in-law said "There goes the tire!" and the tire passes us. lol! That happen around i guess 7:30 and I'm just getting home at 11:35. Bearclaw didn't mean hijack your thread. Sorry
