    Default Lake Russell catfish

Jake and I { Fishing for Crappie] hit the RUssell last night to try for some catfish. Just around dark we had 52 jugs in the water waiting for the bite. After a breif rain show we headed back out around 11 PM to see if we had any bites.
We ended up catching 6 channel cats, 2 got off as Jake was bringing them in the boat. Went back out around 1 AM and had a couple more. We moved some jugs around, then went out around 2:30 to see what we had and go and pick up and head for the house ended up catching 2 that time around. Got home around 4 am we should have went ahead and stayed till daylight but I think Jake was wanting to come home, Ended up bring 6 fish home, pretty slow night but learned a little this trip. THe lake was nice and the temps just right for a pleasent night on the lake.
Here's a couple picture of Jake and the fish. Atleast he took fish home.

That is some nice cats and Jake looks like he is ready to eat a few pounds of fish Thumbs Up. Good report and pics. It's good to see y'all give a good run and next time you will have a few places to start the night at.

Nice catch Beagler, but you need to learn to count! That is 5 catfish, not 6......I just don't know about you GA boys. Rofl

You need to go get some glasses, if you look you'll see there's 6, one is hidden by the big fish look and you see the fin sticking up.RoflRofl

Remus sc has never been good to me.Rofl I was fishing the Georgia side of Russell, heck the way I understand sc laws I would have broke them when i threw out the first jug.Hands Clapping
