Welcome aboard. You are in the right place for some good info. We do have a few strange to a little crazy on here but they have had the shots. So just look over them. Wateree is a great lake for most anything. micorp is the resident pro there. He will help all he can. If ya want a road trip come up to Wylie. Keep an eye on the board as we try to get something going pretty often up here. Keep the young man fishing. You wont regret it.

Thanks for all the kind words and helpful advice - we'll be out on Lake Murray this Sunday morning first looking for some stripers and then some crappie around the DNR brush piles, will let y'all know how it goes!
A perch jerk sounds fun, I'll keep looking here to see when it comes up.
