I figured today would be a good day, I wished I had went this morning! Good job, stay on them.

Found myself at the same boat ramp heading to the same honey-hole again this morning at first light. I thought to myself that if yesterday was a good morning for fishing then today should be atleast as good. Anyway, made it across the water and lines in ready for that first bite. Man! It was slick out there...
Didn't take long either. FISH ON!
...and another!
Wasn't long before sunrise and it was beautiful. I especially liked how there was a slight cloud cover. Naturally though that didn't last long enough.
Following yesterday's tracks in the trolling motor I was able to get back into fish pretty quick and it stayed that way the entire morning.
And like yesterday, you had to weed thru ALOT of little ones to get a big one but I guess there are a lot more smaller fish than bigger fish (where I was fishing anyway).
Lines in the water @ 6:30AM and by 11AM it was getting hot enough that I was sweating so I called it a day. Took this picture before reeling any lines in so tally was 115 throwbacks and 25 keepers in the 'well.
By the time I reeled my rods in and stowed them away another 6 fish was released so final tally this morning was 146 crappie caught with 25 of 'em making the trip home.
Here's the live well shot for today...

Thanks again Mr. Butch! Glad someone knows how to catch crappies. You may make me pull a couple of long rods out and hit Crowders creek Tuesday morning shortly before daylight. LOL

Brett...all I do is pull jigs. The fish caught the past couple days were all off of 1/16th jigs and were pulled in water 7' deep to 12' deep. In the shallower water the fish went crazy with jigs running 1.2 to 1.3 mph. I seldom pulled less than 1.0 mph though. Lighter colors were the ticket both days.
That's awesome buddy. You are on a roll right now!!!!!
