    Smile Minnows For Lyman Lake

Since they changed the regulations on Lyman Lake, Lyman, SC I can put my Tracker on it. Got a sticker this week. Would love to take the little wife crappie fishing. Can someone share with me where I can get minnows near Greer or Lyman, SC?

    Thanks

Jerry I don't know of any stores near Greer that sells minnows. I will ask some of the guys that lives closer to Greer to see if they know of any and post their replies when I hear back from them.

Fultons on wade Hampton near gap creek road has bait. Fished Lyman for 20 years. Used to throw crappie under 10" back. Last 4 years couldn't catch a fish over 8" but you can have fun catching lots of them. Good luck. Curious did they change the 4 stroke rule?

    Thanks for the advice.

Yes they did. That is why I can now put my boat in the lake there. It and Bowen are the only two close to me that I can launch on.

    Have a good one.

So what are the regs on Lyman? That's a hop, skip and a jump for me.

Pull up the Spartanburg Water web site or google Lyman Lake and you can find them. They have removed the 4 stroke reg and that allows me to put my boat there.
