Had an opening to give Catawba Creek a try last night. I expected the water to be warm but not 63* when I got there at dark. Ran out of minnows around 10:45. Counted 49 crappie, not sure how many perch. Kept 15 crappie. Size was good, biggest was 13 inches but I did have a few under 8 inches.
