Remus, Fishfinder8 and myself hit the lake late this morning hoping the wind wouldn't bother us. It never let up while we were there. Managed to get a few in 34 foot of water tight lining minnows with a couple of cranks off the bottom. Most crappies were in 10 to 12 inch fish. Fished Big Allison and Torrance Branch. Total count was not that great with 10 crappies 6 large perch, we had several throw back on perch. I didn't get the water temp, maybe Uncle Remus will remember and post it. Biggest problem today was trying to stay on top of the crappies. I hope these are the March winds and they will soon be gone. I think we all had a good time fishing but just didn't appreciate the wind. Thanks Uncle Remus and Fishfinder we will have to do it again. Pictures will not load for me so I'll try to post them later.
