Looks like a chilly evening in store for the brave souls that wanna try em Sat. Wont be to bad if you layer up your clothes. Couple good dry rags to dry your hands after the minnow bucket or taking off fish. I got one extra propane heater if someone needs to borrow it. Bring your own fuel tank cause mine will be busy. It fits the 30 lb. cylinder with the internal threads on the connection. Got extra drop lights for loan if ya need one. Can maybe scratch up a battery for em . Dont let the chill keep you away. Those big slabs love the cold weather. Have caught several in the last few weeks close to that 2 lb. mark. See ya at 5:00 P.M. at Ebenezer Ramp.If ya need something p.m. me before 4:00 p.m. Sat cause I will be locked and loaded on the way by then.
I hope you are not the only one to show up. As it is right now I am not going. Got problems here at home to take care of. Me! Just don't feel good about being in the cold with my bones not healed all the way and stiffness in the joints. Uncle Remus may still want to go if he can get a seat. Hammett already said he's not keen on going. Sorry! Hope you'll get some big fish. :popcorn
Looks like 3 boat SCgrubbs, Olfish and me. i might be able to win something tonight
Brett, I use to be fairly tough. I now know that when the joints don't move the way they use to it's best to stay off the water. I think I'd like to stay dry and safe. But, I do remember some nights sleet and snow fell on us while night fishing and it didn't matter then. I'm older now and hope I am a little wiser. Maybe not! But I hope so! :twocents
Dawgg , Take care of yourself. They will be warmer nights ahead. Grady , You cant win if you cant catch em ! See ya out there.:fish
