It's been awhile and I truly appreciate being thought about. It's been 2 1/2 months since my wife and I were hit by the drunk driver and we are both at home recovering. There is still a long road of therapy and healing ahead, although my wife and I are trusting fully in God. I'm still in a wheelchair although I have just been told I can begin to put weight on my left leg for the first time. I don't have much use of my left arm as I wait for the bones to heal. The worst for me has been the nerve damage that affects my left hand. I can only move my fingers slightly, nowhere near enough to hold a rod or turn a reef handle. I do therapy every day and have my sights set on being back for CrappieFest this spring, as a participant not as a spectator! In the meanwhile, I would appreciate your prayers. I so miss fishing and doing the things that came naturally before the wreck. And I miss my crappie.com friends and promise I'll check in and post updates. And I wish everyone a joyous and blessed Christmas and New Year!!

Was the guy that hit charged with DUI or Felony DUI? Did it happen in SC or Georgia? Hope y'all have a Merry Christamas! Y'all are in my prayers.
