John, you can fish with 8 pound test and not be to drastic of a change on crappies. But then again some old guys using cane poles used heavier lines and those big 2 ought gold hooks. LOL

I hear ya John, that's a pretty good report for the Stripers especially sine you weren't targeting them. Thanks for the report and pictures.If you need to borrow some striper rods, I got some with a lot of dust on em that are screaming to be used!
