It's the meds he's seeing double
Did you order the sync tool with the metering rods that move up and down or the analog gauge type? or something else? I only ask cause I'm pretty sure your carbs all call for different vacuum from one another, and not like most where you balance to even...

Thats a really good one... I read somewhere that the manual calls for x vacuum on bottom carb then a different amount on others...I dont recall the numbers and it may not be that much difference, it's tough to get em dead nuts any way, if I can find the info again i'll post it, It stuck with me cause I was surprised, i've always balanced the carbs on bikes or boats......
I've been off line and could have let you use mine, it's somewhere here. Isn't that F50 a 3 cly, I though the F50 and F40 were both 3 cly. and I think that my shop manual said to match threm. I think that I may have the OEM manual on a F50 also.
Found my F40 book. Measure the #3. Adjust the throttle valve adjusting screws part #5 on both #1 & #2 carbs until they are within the specified variations. example, if #3 is 300 mm Hg then #2 should be 300-5 = 295 and #1 would be 300 -10 =290 mm Hg Hope this helps. If I find my F50 manual, I'll see if it says the same thing..
Thanks
I think you leave the bottom carb alone and adjust to it since it is linked to all and controls all
2002 F50 has 4 carbs
F40 has 3
Thanks again
