Remus picked me up at 6:30 am and we were quickly on the way to Ebenezer Park. Launched and started looking around in deep water 30-50 for fish with no luck. Decided to go down the river to old Joslin Park area and see what we could find. Started tight lining on the point and there is where we anchor locked and were on white perch 30-35 foot seem to be the hot hole. Total brought home was 30 WP and one crappie all on the large size. I know you guys will knock this around but both of us threw back at least 60 to 70 WP each and gave an unknown amount to Matthew CBNC who stopped by looking for bait. While talking to him he was catching them on a sibki rig 2 and 3 at a time. Today was one heck of a good day to be fishing. We stayed late looking around and found lots of fish on plan x right in front of the island in 44 foot of water. It was nice meeting you Matthew and hope you will join us sometime nightstalking or on a perch jerk. Thanks Remus for taking me today I enjoyed it.

At least you got to feel the tug. I was going today but did not make it. I am going down by shull island tomorrow and troll for some stripers. Thanks for sharing.

Uncle Remus boot-camp genteelly connected to a #4 gold J-hook placed aT A certain spot and jiggled with a light twitchin motion == just
enough twitch to lure the perch in so the blue minner could latch on and yank on the line to let you know he had enemy subdued

I can testify that they were killing them, I saw it first hand. They gave me a good many and I caught a good many, had over 50 when I got home. Wished I new they were there earlier , I would have joined them earlier. Them perch are fun to catch! Great meet Bigdog, and talking to remus,thanks. Cat fished about 2 hours then I had to go, only caught 6 cats, nothing over 10 lbs, still a good day to be out on the lake, not much boat traffic, that in its self is wonderful!!!! Not much wind either. I'm loving this weather.
