Put in at Big Allison about 8:30. Late start but water pump problems got in the way.

Ran up to the bridge at 274 but nothing was moving. Came back down below boat landing. Perch were schooling on top chasing shad. Perch stayed up for about a hour. Most of the shad looked to be about an inch long.

Caught 25 perch & 3 bass using a gold spoon.

Little Allison looked muddy up towards the back end.

Most were medium with a couple of nice size perch. The bass were around 2 & 1/2 lbs.

    medium is good,
bait stealers is the problem but since you're fishing a spoon, guess that's not an issue

    see you out there soon,

Don't be too sure. I've caught WP that were shorter than the spoon. Got a picture I'll post if I can find it.
