Take it off the rail! The rail clamp is designed to let the pipe slide back for traveling but I just attatch it it the rail when I'm ready to fish, take it off when I'm done.

Do the surface lights do any better then the underwater green leds...

Just as good in most case's if not better! I got both and usually everyone catches fish. :highfive
