Yea, I know my last post said I wouldnt be fishing for awhile but I the love to fish is in me and I just cant stay away. LOL

Today I had plans on my last day off this week to get some seed down on the 3 food plots I have so it had to be short and sweet on the water this morning. The weather started out GREAT...overcast and in the low to mid 70's with a slight breeze. Water temps were around 83-83.5 * depending on where you looked. The bite started a little slow but before long it was on and as before the blue/black and red/black with chart tails dominated. I tried staying in water from 12.5' to 20' deep pulling jigs around 10' deep. My plans were to quit at 9:30AM regardless of the outcome and get the rest of todays plans done (which I finally did).

Fish was biting pretty good when I got all the rods up so the final tally was actually 43 crappie caught with 26 making the trip home.
