Remus and I went down to Elk park water intake area this morning around 7 am. We only caught catfish in that area, after 15 or so we move back up to one of Remus's honey holes and manage 34 WP and several more catfish. No crappie were harmed in this rodeo today. Total Cats brought home was 11 of 1.5 to 3 pounds fish all were given to a man I know that's need all the fish he can get due to poor eye sight. I know not to head that way Saturday night. Looked around in some older spot but not much to look at. I guess it will be big Allison Saturday night.:highfive

If ya head to Crowders be ready for a perch jerk. Was in there Tues. a.m. They is more perch in there than you can catch. Looked over in Nivens Creek. Not a lot of anything there. Saw most fish I think were crappie in the old standby spots. Hangin tight on brush in 25 to 30 fow. Aint sure where I may end up. Supposed to have a rookie on board and couplle more following in his boat. We shall see. :dono

Ofish, I know I won't be going that far up to fish. I'm thinking the power lines in deep water 10 cranks on the reel handle and let it ride.:Rofl

Someone asked bout the weather for Sat. p.m.. Last I saw was for HOT Any questions ? But it will cool off soon as that sun gets away. Low to mid 80s by 11:00 pm. Just have plenty to drink and dont over do it jerking in fish. We got some for sure rookies comin out to visit the gang. They want to see what nitestalikn is about. Everyone is welcome to any of our outings. Dont be shy. Come on out and teach me how to catch big slabs. If anyone needs something for the nite let me know by bout 3:00 p.m. Sat. Lights- Anchors - Batteries- whatever. Let us know so we can have it for you to borrow. Hope to see a great crowd Sat.
