Got on the water fairly early with the temperature rising fast. Water was flat, no breeze at all plus not many anglers out there to contend with. After reading Charles reports on the perch we headed down the river to the old Joslin Park area and set up on what looked to be perch and bait. Remus had 3 catfish in the boat before I got my first line in the water. Man he is slick as can be. LOL We drifted around awhile picking up a perch here and there still catching catfish in between. Ended up with 33 perch and 5 catfish to make the ride home with us. We threw 20 or more perch and several catfish and a bass back for another day. Fed a couple of Osprey's lunch on a few floater perch. Neat to see then skim the water and hook themselves a meal. Had a great morning with a friend enjoying nature and catching a few fish. Thanks uncle Remus!

Only annoying things today was the ski club coming 50 foot or so from us. They came in between us and the bank and circling around and coming back thru again. We were about a 100 feet or so from the bank. Not to say it's to close but when you got a 400 foot or more opening in the middle of the river. WTH!
Here's Remus and his fish for Ink!
