Default Santee on a beautiful Friday

Slipped out to the lake on Friday to test the waters. I chose to spend my time fishing deep brush on the lower end of lake Marion. I never found any big concentrations of fish, but most spots held one or two quality fish. I kept a nice limit that included three fish over two pounds out of 60 crappie caught. It was nice being on Santee catching some nice fish after the struggles on Grrenwood last week. Fish were caught using both jigs minnows, with edge going to the minnows.

Nice catch Tim. Just think if you would of had that catch at Greenwood. Wish I knew why they are biting so good at Santee and no where else. Think it my be the fishermen that is putting them in the boat that is the difference. Thanks for sharing
