    Default Murray Stripers

I called my buddy Jeff to ask if he had seen any boats down at the dam at night fishing for Stripers. He said why don't we just go check for ourselves?
So he picked me up at 6pm and we got 2 dozen herring and off we went. We did not have any of the bad weather that was all around but the wind was up enough to be aggravating.

We checked some areas for schooling fish but with the wind up that was fruitless so we went to the towers at the dam.
This was our first clue it might be good.

We managed a limit of 10, keeping 8 for the pot.

Sorry about the poor shots, it was midnight when I took these two .
Here is a crowded live well shot for Butch.

This a shot of the towers at the dam. For those not familiar with the lake they house turbines used to generate electricity.

Fisherman are strange creatures. I drive all over the country to fish and this is 10 minutes from my house and I do it maybe 2 or 3 times a year.
