Ok let me start with I worked on the father inlaw's boat this week and got the big motor off.
Put rod Holder bases on and decided to try it out this morning.
Trolling motor fishing. Tried to longline some but the wind was just to much. I tightlined one rod and did manage 2 white perch.
I must say I have to hand it to all the guys here that can hold a boat in this kind of wind. Weather guy said 5-10 mph and at times it was gale force. You guys rock with a trolling motor.
Sad to say the I gave it up after an hour or so and now I'm home getting ready to cut grass.
Hope yall was able to get out and find some.
Sure wishing I had a running motor to find a wind break.
