Default 4/16-4/17 Hill & Russell report

Went back to the Hill on Saturday am, wanted to scout an area that I hadn't fishes in a while. Found clear water and few fish. I had a customer and his son who wanted to go and Sunday was their only opportunity so I decided to take them to Russell after my findings on Saturday. Ended up being the right call. We pulled 1/16 w/ split shot in 12-20fow about .9mph
we caught about 50 fish and kept almost 30. We quit about 11am. Both father and son had a ball. Big fish was 1-3/4lb.

It is great to see the smiles with nice fish in hand. Congrats on getting them on the fish and on the catch.

Great looking catch, but I am ready for some weather that don't require coats and glove, it's almost May for crying out loud.

Good report and pics Keith. Glad you guys found biting fish and plenty of decent size ones too. 1.75# I'd take all day long. That's a good 'un. Congrats.
