    Default Murray 4-10 report

Hit Murray with my good friend Sunday with the intentions of getting him a good mess of crappie off of one of my most productive brush piles. After the Crappiefest on Saturday, I was looking forwards to a windless day on the lake. Unfortunately, when I got to my piles, the wind was a little too strong to stay there so we ended up longlining. Had a good day overall with 15 crappie, 15 nice perch, and 3 keeper striped objects. The largest crappie was a tad under 2 lbs and had laid out for the most part. Broke off several stripers after spending a 30 minute time out to re-rig all 14 rods after one striper decided he needed to try to eat all baits. Wish I had taken a picture of that mess.

This was a good way to end a good weekend of fishing and meeting some new friendly folks at the fest Saturday.

Nice catch from Murray. What part of the lake were you fishing? If it was Clouds Creek I am going back to playing golf cause I can't catch crappie up there.
