I have been waiting for the captain of the SS Remus II to start the post but???????? I guess he still must be napping or off somewhere fishing. We hit the lake about 8:00 am. the water temp was 62. We long lined in Big Allison. We ended up with 19 keeper size crappie's and 37 large white perch. We used a bunch of different colors and types of jigs and they didn't have any favorites. We were getting ready to pack it in for the day when we found a nice school of white perch. It was a bit cool and windy but we had a great day on the water! Thanks again Uncle Remus!

some times you have to lay low. been minding somebodies business but my own
enjoyed the day fishing with fishfinder8 caught a good mess of crappie
considering hurricane Hugo was still in full force and some nice perch too.
Craig didn't mention the right at 16 inch crappie we caught. ==
yup he wound her in and I dipped her up with one them unsinkable home made broom handle nets
went after them striped fish Thursday did ok at wateree .
hope they are still biting Monday == I'm taking a friend that just lost his wife of
over 60 years. he told me he had two things on his bucket list (1) was to catch a striper
and (2) catch a spot tailed bass so I'm gonna try to get him on a striper.
and maybe try to get him to the ocean this fall .
