Not sure what size you want, but Tohatsu makes all small Mercury motors up to around 100 HP. You can save on them also, but Yamahas are hard to beat and the Suzukis are one of the quietest motors I've heard run, so good choices all around.

:donogot a 90 hp. Yamaha 4 stroke 2 yrs old no problems also got a 90 hp. 2 stroke Yamaha I think its about a 1990 no problems when I ran it has not been run in 5==6 yrs. I'm with Sam probably the best warranty is the way I would go. you cant buy nothing built in the U.S.A. anyway so what's the difference in China and Japan
My opinion is like everyone's get the one you like the most and think you'll be happy with. I got a Yamaha and it's been a darn good one 1986, 50 power pro. Only problems with it is it's old and drinks gas. Never had any real problems with it. If you keep up maintenance on any brand it will last. You do the picking that way you can't blame us! LOL Yamaha, Yamaha, Yamaha, Yamaha, Yamaha, Yamaha and Yamaha :scratchhead
Get the suzuki offering 6 year warranty, and better gas savings on cruising speeds..
Hey Dawgg , I must have missed something. Did you say Yamaha or was I hearing things ?
You want relieable, good on gas, life time warranty get a set of oars. And they are cheap
Use a drift sock like a sail and let the wind do the work
I see you got one already !
Congrats
