Fished last week for the first time this year on 3/19/16. Water temp low 70s all fish caught shallow one pole jigging tress with grass near by. No color out fished any other. A one man limit was had with over 30 fish caught. 3/24/16 with the cold front that came in last sat mon and tues. Launched the boat from the same boat ramp today. Turned on the graph and WOW water temp had dropped 10 degrees. Fish sometimes are very predictable under line sometimes!!!! After seeing the water temp i headed for a spot that i knew the fish where staging in early March and boy did it pay off. With the cold front that came through fish had been pushed back out to the 8 to 10 foot range. All fish caught spidder rigging double minnow riggs about one foot off bottom. Once again a one person limit was caught with 7 fish well over 2 pounds. Happy fishing to all!!!!!!
A bad day fishing is better then a good day at work. Unless u fish for a living![]()

I'm continually amazed by Santee Cooper. Congrats on the day!
With all them GAINT catfish down there I'm surprised a crappie can grow to over 2#'s without getting eaten.Congrats on two good days of fishing and catching.
