Sons first fish he caught on his own a crappie
he wanted to fish like daddy and used a 2 inch curly tail chartreuse grub on his little spongebob rod. We were fishing at the duck pond behind the Anderson civic center. he picked out the color himself out of my tacklebox. Funny that the first fish he catches on his own is with a jig. Most kids learn with a bobber and a hook but my son is hooked now so look out.
