Default Lake Wylie. Fishing with Uncle Remus 2-18

I have been waiting for the Captain to post about our trip but must be he is too busy with his honey do list!!! Any ways the water temp was 47 in Little and big Allison. We tried some of his hot spots and marked a lot of fish. But I guess they were not hungry. ( Maybe it was because we didn't have any blue attack minnows?) I tried to take your advice BigDawgg about letting Remus catch the first 50 perch but after two hours I decide to put some bait on my hooks too. Since Remus only had two small perch by then!! Any ways we ended up with 13 keeper perch, two crappies and one skinny green carp. We tossed back a bunch of small perch. I won't tell you who caught the most dinks or the big crappie . But my wife was happy with her fresh fish supper when she got home from work! Thank again for taking me with you . I had a great time as usual!! I hope that you are feeling better after you got the stink blown off?? Take care!

Good report and sounds like a nice day on the lake pulling in some fish. Thanks for posting the report.
