Slow to start but found some fish in the Lawrence Bridge area. About 15' in 25 -30' of water. I don't keep em unless they are 10", and we had 9 keepers and 1 one 2 1/2 lb spot. My two biggest fish were on a jig Stump Hunter made (bought a few this week to try), not sure the name of this jig but it's in the picture if Stump can tell me. It had a brown with flake head, black and light chartreuse skirt. I say had because I broke the dang hook off in the fish in the picture. All in all I think we landed about 20, and missed I don't know how many.

That is a #E22 hair jig. One of my favorite hair jigs. I been having good luck with hair jigs also and great to see you enjoyed catching fish with my jigs. I enjoy seeing other catch those slabs and seeing the smile on the faces.
Looks like some good solid crappie and the water is looking great. I had planned to fish Hartwell Friday but had things come up that kept me off the water. I was hoping the crappie there has started to make their move toward the shallow water. Enjoyed reading your report and enjoyed the pics.
Were you spider rigging?
