Some quality time with my kiddos! We put out some jugs and had a good time with pretty good success. Rocky river arm of Russell starting to clear up, but still pretty stained.

Haven't done that since I was a young'un. It was fun and exciting watching the jugs get dragged all over the place by a big ol'catfish. You never knew how big it was until the fish was lifted from the water. Congrats, and thanks for sharing.

Looks like the kids had a ball! Many congrats.Tell me, did you put the jugs out the evening before or did you just toss 'em out that morning? Back when I fished jugs I always placed them out the evening before. My neighbor put 'em out on Oconee the morning they went (a couple years ago) and caught a cooler full of cats and never took a rod and reel with them. Crazy!
