NEW TOY

No I did not buy an ultera. The last couple of trips my lowrance HDS 8 that is mounted on the console has been acting up so I decided to replace it. Just so happened that Cabelas had refurbished HDA 8's on sale for $649.00 so I ordered one. It came in today and I am going to install it tomorrow. I want to change out the transducer also as it is the original one that came on the boat. This may be my problem but not sure. Want know until I do some checking. I got a 7 on the tracker with a new transducer and if it works okay on it then I will install it on the tracker and move the 7 to the front.

Don I hope your problem will be solved. How many did they have? May have to check it out. Does it still com with a warranty? Thanks

Mark I don't know how many they have. The unit looks like new and it has a 1 year warranty. It is a good buy and all the accessories are new.

Yeah I spent all my profit from the last 3 years now got to wait 3 more before I can buy anything else. I hooked the 8 up one the tracker and it seemed to work better. Will know more when I go fishing and try it out.
