    Default Boat hits santee dam


    Guys,I can't attach a link but hopefully someone can/ will. A guides boat was sucked into the dam at a spillway on santee while fishing ,,all four fishermen was able to get on the dam.

    I thought they had cables between the marker boys so you could catch one of those if you got too close.
    Wonder who the Capitan was...not a good recommendation for his/her skill set.
    That's why I don't go near the spillways on either side of the dam

    What I read said he had drift socks out and they couldn't cut them loose fast enough. Even full throttle he couldn't beat the current.
