Fished Big Allison this morning for a while. Water was high & muddy as expected. I tried cut shad for cats for most of the time but did not get a single bite. Also, I tried several spots for perch with the same results. Hope this not any indication of how 2016 is going to be! It was good to be on the water even if the fish were not hitting.

A lot of bass boats were out & running around.

Hats off to you, Charles, for even trying in these conditions. I am so tired of all the rain and soggy ground. I have a small shop in back yard built on a concrete pad and the water just seeps in from the ground. Never seen it like this before. Normal rains, even heavy ones, have not done this before.
Maybe this cold front will bring drier weather.
