Meeting is at CK's house
Will provide address tomorrow if still alive
As far as I know the 9th is the day At T Bones 1PM
Bring answers I've got questions, there are some good ideas on this string we need to decide which way to go design wise
Sounds great!
I started a list of things we need to cover in the meeting. Please add to the list if you can think of anything we need to talk about
Here's what I cam up with so far:
How many piles to do
What kind of brush or a mix of brush hardwoods PVC boo
Concrete blocks or pails w concrete or cardboard boxes w concrete
Adding 1x2 for stability
Who gets the numbers
Should we rent a mixer or do it by hand, I have a plastic mixing pan
Where to put them
Whose doing the work building and deploying
I looked at Lowes for concrete prices, there is very little difference in price per lbs for the different bag sizes.Unless we have a bunch of he men I'm thinking the 50lbs bag would be the way to go they are about 3 cents more a lb but easier to handle than the 60/80 lb bag
Will need a way to get water to the build site for the quickrete.
I got a old 55 gal drum for water. I'll get it ready to transport to where ever. :popcorn
Check water off the list
thought of something recently...If you have access to wax myrtles, they are excellent for brushpiles also. They are light and the leaves hold on a long time. The zooplankton seems to like them, which in turns draws baitfish.
I was wondering if they'd be good. I have two that need trimming badly how about holly bushes.
How long do they need to be?
