Default Taking the Grandson's fishing on Hartwell

    Hi all,
Just bought a place on Hartwell not too long ago and doing the first Crappie hunt with the 2 grandsons (5 years old). Looking for pointers from anyone who knows the lake. Thought I'd try Coneross Creek area first since it is close. Thanks for any input.

Hi Alex. Thanks for the tip. I'll be keeping an eye out on the fish finder for them.

Hey CrickHillKid, be sure to fish a few docks. Hartwell docks holds a lot of crappie and a float and jig may just be the ticket even around lay downs. I hope you are able to put the grand kids on some fish but with you living on the lake they will have many trips for pop to teach them how to catch fish. Talking about having close grand kids, our first two were 5 days apart!!!
