Default And the congratulations go to.....

Well the 2015 N.C. / S.C. Clash is in the books. We had great weather and a decent turnout. The fish were pretty tightlipped for all who came out. Before the award a few Thanks to some special folks last night. Turkeyfoot , and ScooperDude , Thanks for offering a seat to some new faces that didnt have a ride. Not many folks would step up and offer a stranger a ride in a high caliber competition like we were in. And cutbait , Thanks for your donations to the prize fund. BigDawgg , Thanks for your donations also. Thanks to all that came out and fished. Did meet a couple other CDC members that couldnt fish this one , but will be back for another. FishingFore good to meet you and your inlaw. Wish you could have fished with this crowd. There were a few obscene moments prior to blast off. Glad no one had a camera to get BigDawwg half naked runnin round the parking lot. Nuff said on that. Yukky ! Now for the good stuff. There were 8 boats in the show. A bit lopsided toward the S.C. team. So to make it a bit more fair it was decided that each S.C. boat could only weigh one fish in the Clash cataregory. The N.C. boats would weigh two fish per boat. After a quick yes vote we took off. Most everyone went to Crowders Creek. But it was pretty muddy. After an hour or so some boats headed out to find better water. After all said and done it was not a good night for the crappie bite. I think every boat did get to weigh in on the Clash. It was a small weight for both teams. But after some good time ribbing and a few fish tales the winner of the 2105 N.C / S.C CLASH WOULD BE...Did I mention BigDawgg streaking in public ? Oh yeah the winner. Winning weight was 5lb. 1oz. against 4 lb 4 oz. This year the winner was... And he wouldnt put his clothes on either.......
CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM NORTH CAROLINA !!
You guys d id well. Congratulations on your first N.C./S.C. Clash victory.

We will start gettin ready for the next one. Everyone that likes night stalkin should come on out to one of these events. Or just loves fishing period. Great bunch of folks and better yet great bunch of friends. Again Thanks to everyone for everything. Will see ya soon.
Almost forgot. Individual big fish was taken by BlueGrass Maniac with a 2.33 slab. Second was ScooperDude with a 1.12 fish. Grady I think I owe you for a second place award. It was late and I dont read good in the dark or day for that matter.
    Thanks you guys.

It was fun being out on a cold night with all of these great guys in the clash. Thanks to all! It will be different next year because we didn't have Remus and the blue minnow attackers. We'll be back in force next time. NC are the champs for now and it was due and it only took a couple of show up guys to do it. Rousy lost her title too but hey ours didn't hurt as bad as hers. I ain't got no black eyes! Hats off to NC!

Sounds like an interesting night and what happens on a nightstalk really needs to stay in the dark
Thanks for the great write up and congrats to the NC team.

Had a great time as always. Even if the fish didn't cooperate the best part is the storytelling at the ramp!

Had a great time! Looking forward to the next one. Thanks to everyone involved in putting the event together and for those that could make it to fish.

A slow night but glad everybody caught some fish. And good to meet you R2002...you looked like you was pretty happy with your "score" ..lol. I think he took home all the NC fish for a grease bath competition.

The first time Newly didn't show up and NC won....just saying
Maybe we were all just hungry with no donuts

It was fun, we had to work hard to get 2 fish int he boat, tried 3 different spots and only put fish in the boat about 2 hours before quitting time. Surprising the biggest fish was caught at 8 feet in 35fow. Bait was thick with fish under them just wouldn't give-up
