Did not weigh it, but I caught one on Clarks Hill about 2 1/2 lbs single rod casting stinger tail jig around a dock. I don't think I have ever caught one pushing or over 3 lbs like a lot of you, so GPS coordinates would be helpful.http://www.crappie.com/crappie/image...s/big-grin.png
Edit: just noticed this post just got me past "minner" status! http://www.crappie.com/crappie/image...y_highfive.gif

I've yet to break the two pound mark, since I've started weighing fish.Caught some big ones in my younger days, but hey all fish look big then.Biggest I have caught in the last 15 years is 1 lb 15 oz,,,actually caught several that was just the one ounce shy.Biggest from my boat was 2 lb 4 oz,caught buy a friend outta the back as I was giving him the trolling101.

We're here for you
Several years ago I caught a 3# 1 oz . I got back to the marina where we kept our boat and I went to the store just up the road to get it weighted . About a year later I was cleaning my boat in the marina and the wife asked me where was a good place to fish , well I just pointed out the back of the boat . While I was washing the boat down some and messing around the wife yells I GOT ONE , We took it to the same store and it weighed 3# 1oz. . I just told her that to get her off my back while I cleaned the boat up . We were at what was Seneca marina at the time on Hartwell . The old saying "the truth is stranger than fiction" often comes around to all of us .
