why arent the stripers busting?

on lake wateree on friday stripers where everywhere i saw them for miles busting. went out sunday nothing nothing at all saw bait but no stripers tons of bait but no busters. what could be the cause of this.

Just because they school good on one day does not mean they will school there the next day. The bait could have moved. They for the most part were not hungry and active. Where I live on Rocky Creek on lake Murray they might school today and not school for a couple weeks mostly because they have moved on up the lake. Hope this explains a little.

I also striper fished Friday from June creek to almost all the way to the lower dam. I saw one small school all day around Clearwater cove. I guess you gotta be in the right spot at the right time, cause i surely didn't see them busting for miles. Like sinkermaker said they probably just moved else where, and apparently not where I was. With that being said we still caught the heck out of them with live bait on free lines and planers.
