Default What the results on Fishing Creek trip?

How about a report guys. Last I heard the Remus crew was kicking butt! They had fish fighting in the live well if another one was thrown in there. Remus was scared fishfinders big fish was going to be eaten by his giant crappie he had. Hope you all did good with the big crowd you had.

I heard that someone saw Remus's boat parked in front of a seafood shop about 6PM. That might explain why his boat was only one that did much good. They took big fish something over 2 lbs and biggest 5 fish.
We should have been cat fishing cuz they tore us up.. I managed 3 crappie, 5 bug bites. They weren't hitting the bait hard so you had to be on your toes to hook them up.
we were in 33 fow temp 88 degrees hardly any wind.
An enjoyable evening on the water, not a bad drive for me about an hour, lots of new people( for me)

It was a bit slow far as the crappie bite. Thought I was back at High Rock. Had 17 on the clicker but only 3 keeper fish. Them dang salt / pepper cats were on a feeding frenzy though. They were worse than white perch on Wylie. Had a school of small stripers come to my light. Man they can make a mess in a hurry. Again Team Remus and sidekick Fishfinder was the one to beat. Still think we should have a rule bout blasting after 10:00 p.m. Or was that DY-NO-MITE I kept hearing over there? We had a super turnout. 15 folks fished. Thanks to the new faces. Don (aka .sinkermaker) was aboard the ScooperCanoe. He seems like he is a nitestalk pro. Thanks for comin out sir. Most of our regular crowd and a couple of guys from work showed up. Team Fluffy and his crew gave it the best shot . But again those cats were there for everyone. Thanks for handeling that bait problem David. Team SS Minnow had a new face aboard. Josh , Dont give up on us. It was a slow night for all. Team Small had his bride along for good luck. Thanks mama Small for tryin to set him straight. And maybe dont let Jamie sit up front. Fish see that mugg and go laugh somewhere else. Team Charlie had his sidekick Michael aboard. Gotta train him more Charlie. He didnt get the hang of that Barbie rod yet. It was a slow crappie night but everyone had fun just jawwin and yakin back and forth. We gonna do it again soon. Ya'll come on out and meet some of the best people around. Even in the dark (which is better for most of em) they are a great bunch. Thanks Kurt for gettin us going on this one. When you ready again give it a holler.

I want to thank Grady for letting me come up there to fish with him. He hoged all the crappie bites but that is okay I had fun and really enjoyed the night. That was my first night stalk for crappie and I learned a lot and want be my last. I am setting my tracker up for night stalking so I can attend more of these events. Next time the minnows and doughnuts will be on me. Thanks again Don

Butch, you never heard about Remus' famed trained blue minners?? Don't know where he gets 'em or how he trains 'em but they are bad news. I had band aids on my fingers just trying to put them on my hook when I fished with him.
Don, you done fell in with a wild and crazy bunch.
I try to go as often as I can, 'fraid they will make stuff up about me if I don't.
We are back, by the way, from our 2 week trek into Yankee Land.
