Default Lake Wylie Perch Jerk Monday 6/29/2015

Got on the lake about 7:30 setup with my 6 dozen highly trained minnows and did a Perch Jerk. Those that went last Monday know exactly where I am. 10:00 out of minnows and 65 in cooler. I never moved from my spot. Put my lock spot on and stayed there. They came to me. Three weeks have a family reunion so trying to get some meat. Will be Perch Jerkin next few weeks.

Good going CK. I thought about going today but had Doctor appointment in prime of morning. Tomorrow is no better Doctor appt. at 9 am. After this one though maybe I'll move on to the next phase prior to surgery. I'll try to keep Remus out of your fishing hole. I am looking forward to another trip like we had last week. That one didn't wear me out like the others. Thanks for the picture and report and good luck on the reunion and fish fry catch them all.

Nice looking box of dead perch you have there! Well done, stay after them until you have enough to feed all the folks that dwell in the Rock Hill area.

25 feet. This time of the year the perch in morning are 20 to 25.

I was on wylie yesterday, catfishing, I used subaski rigs and in 10 minutes we had 30 perch in the boat, we were catching them 5 at a time. I should have took a picture of the depth finder while we were over them. As soon as the rig hit the bottom, bam bam bam they hit!

Countryboy. I have some Sabiki rigs. What size do you use? I have size 6 and 8. Do you leave all 6 hooks on them.
